The Late Phil Donahue was a Character as Evidenced by Classic "SNL" Sketch

The legendary daytime talk show host Phil Donahue has passed away after a long illness at the age of 88. He hosted over 6,000 episodes of his show over nearly three decades. But one of my favorite Donahue-related memories is the classic "SNL" "Donahue" sketch from the '80's with the BRILLIANT Phil Hartman and Jan Hooks, sadly taken from us way too soon. Good Lord I miss the days when "SNL" was this truly funny.
