I'm very much in awe of Def Leppard for many reasons. I've always loved their music despite the fact that they had to change their sound a bit following Rick Allen's tragic loss of his arm in a car accident. I loved the way the band stuck with Allen at the peak of their fame when many bands might have just moved on to find another drummer. Instead, they waited for Allen to heal and for a new, modified drum kit to be devised and for Allen to learn to play it. Big points for friendship and loyalty. And they are one of the few 80's "hair band" acts to survive the emergence and dominance of grunge in the early '90's and are still going VERY strong today. That kind of longevity in any arena of show business is damn rare. So, for all of you Def Lep fans like me, it's cool to revisit this '92 MTV documentary about the recording of "Adrenalize".
