Some Critics Hail Black Crowes' "Happiness Bastards" As Year's Best Album

The Black Crowes' album "Happiness Bastards" has been voted the "Best of 2024" by the writers of "Classic Rock".

Pat Carty, a writer for the British magazine, describes the Crowes' effort as "a rock n’ roll record that’s funkier than a tramp’s [soiled pants], more soulful than a gospel convention, warmer than a mother’s love, and groovier than the Grand Canyon."

Whatever in the hell that means.
