Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson Calls Drummer Nicko McBrain His "Hero"

Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickinson said that the band's longtime drummer, Nicko McBrain, who just retired from touring, is his "hero," especially for the strength, courage, and determination he displayed to get back behind the kit after suffering a stroke. Dickinson noted how it was particularly tough to witness nasty comments on social media bashing McBrain, saying he was "washed up," "old," should retire, etc.
