Lebron Topped Kareem In Scoring, But Kareem Holds The Comedy Cameo Crown

Oklahoma City Thunder v Los Angeles Lakers

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 07: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar ceremoniously hands LeBron James #6 of the Los Angeles Lakers the ball after James passed Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA's all-time leading scorer, surpassing Abdul-Jabbar's career total of 38,387 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Crypto.com Arena on February 07, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. All I could think of while watching Lebron celebrate the all-time scoring record is how funny Kareem was as the co-pilot in "Airplane". I think that movie is my favorite comedy of all time. I remember going to see it with my buddies back in high school on the same weekend that we saw "Caddyshack". Both movies came out in July of 1980 and their production budgets were around $5 million each. "Airplane" pulled in close to $85 million at the box office - about twice as much as "Caddyshack". What’s your favorite comedy of all time?
