Belichick Has Waved the White Flag

In the Monday Patriots' Press Conference, Bill Belichick sounded like he has given up on the season and maybe on his job. He wasn’t grumpy. He wasn’t condescending. He didn’t give one-word answers.

He was nice. He was respectful. He addressed reporters by name, on occasion.

Quite frankly, it was hard to listen to.
