Are you any good at carving pumpkins? I'm not. I stink at it. Some people blame the tools. I blame my complete lack of artistic ability.
They say that two thirds of Americans just know that we are bad at carving pumpkins. Men tend to think they're better at it than women. Thirty six percent of men think they're good at carving pumpkins, whereas twenty eight percent of women feel they have a knack for the skill.
Whatever the case, I know I'm not as good as Tim Perry of Cranston. He started the season off with upwards of 640 pumpkins, and keeps going. He is hand carving plastic pumpkins...which is no joke! The added bonus is that he can reuse the pumpkins year after year as he grows his display.
Tim is also doing something incredible this year (aside from creating a FREE Halloween display for anyone that wants to see it). He is raising money for the American Cancer Society...while his wife is also battling the disease. The display is free, but he asks that if you have the means, to donate if you can. You can do that here.
In the meantime, you know you've really made it when...someone carves a pumpkin of you! Cheers, Tim!
