According the folks at Popular Science, "tapping" on an electronic might help bump pieces back where they belong! Maybe there's an issue with the solder. Maybe something's just a little out of place.

It may not be a permanent fix either...but it certainly can potentially save you an emergency trip to (insert electronics store of choice here)!
