This was certainly not something we even realized was a problem until a beer company, of all businesses, stepped in to make a change to women's hockey jerseys.
Women hockey players often have long hair and their ponytails hang below their helmet and obscure their names on their jerseys. Molson has stepped in to support the women of the PWHL (Professional Women's Hockey League) by altering the jerseys. How? Well, they simply added their sponsorship name in the top position (above the player's number) and then the women's names were places in clear view below their numbers.
