In our work with Best Buddies and Special Olympics we've developed some pretty deep relationships with people with disabilities and it's been a wonderful experience. There's something about a good percentage of the 'disabled' population that is just so damn lovable. When you hang out it is refreshing to have a relationship that is there just for fun... no agendas, no work anxieties... and the majority are so fun of love and 'being in the present.' And to see so many family members involved and keeping heroic attitudes! I've learned a lot from my Best Buddy Bill and other in that community.
