An intense power struggle inside the band LIVE has finally come to an end and it was pretty ugly. Co-founders Ed Kowalczyk, who wrote and sang virtually every song, has been alienated from co-founding member guitarist Chad Taylor. It ended yesterday with the firing of Taylor. A post from Kowalczyk last week said, quote, the three other original members are not speaking to each other and I am stuck in the middle, and if I try to go solo, there is a good chance they will sue me again. After meeting with lawyers and record company execs Kowalczyk fired Taylor and promises to put new music out which he hasn’t been able to do since 2016.
