Extreme is back with a new single and video for "Rise" from their forthcoming album "Six" due out on June 9th! Extreme has always been a really solid band in my opinion, and I'm digging this new tune. Also of note about this album, I was reading a story in which Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt (a truly awesome guitar player) said that a lot of his motivation in recording their new album "Six" was to try to ensure that Eddie Van Halen's contributions to guitar playing are never forgotten. Nuno, who has always expressed his huge fandom regarding EVH, said that he's "not the one who will take the throne (of Eddie)," but that he feels a responsibility to keep rock guitar playing alive, and that there is a lot of "fire" on this new Extreme record.
