Def Leppard Drummer Rick Allen Opens Up About Recent Violent Attack

Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen has displayed great strength and resilience since losing his arm in a car accident on New Year's Eve in 1984. And he recently had to draw on that strength and lessons learned from that tragic experience decades ago to help him get through a senseless, violent attack outside a South Florida hotel this past March - an attack which found him knocked to the ground by an assailant and which resulted in a head injury.
