David Lee Roth's Re-Recording of "Jump" in 2023 Begs the Question: WHY?!

David Lee Roth has been slowly re-recording and releasing Van Halen classics with some musician buddies for quite awhile now, and his latest attempt is a re-recording on the VH classic, "Jump". Don't know why he's bothering to do this, although I'm sure he makes some cash and gets people talking about him again because of it. But, if you're not going to do it better than the original (and no one ever will), why not just leave it alone? It's like Hollywood's tired, lazy approach of just re-making classic movies: just leave the masterpieces alone and come up with something original for the LOVE OF GOD!
