Second Life: KISS Has #1 Song 46 Years After Its Release

Surely Gene Simmons woke up this morning with a big smile on his face: KISS has a #1 song, 46 years after it was originally released.

The song, "I Was Made for Lovin' You", is from their seventh album, 1979's "Dynasty". It just topped Billboard's "Top TV Songs" chart for December after having been used in the third season of the Disney+ series, "What If?..."

It was streamed 8.6-million times along with a thousand downloads. The tune peaked at #11 on the "Billboard Hot 100" in 1979.
