Robert Plant is parting with some of his guitars and other instruments.
ATB Guitars, a vintage dealer in Cheltenham, England, is handling the sale. ATB released a statement that reads, in part: "Not many people know he (Plant) is also an accomplished guitarist of some note and has said he never played guitar during his Led Zeppelin days as he was with two of the greatest guitarists of all time.
“Robert has used these instruments on various recordings and demos throughout the years, both with Zeppelin and during his solo and collaborative efforts. Unfortunately for most of these, he cannot remember the dates or tracks these have been used on, but each one has had a purpose and a use and we feel honored to be the representative for his collection.
“Robert has generously decided that all the proceeds of the sale of these instruments will be befitting charities close to his heart, including local charities...”
